WordPress for the skills services
Federated searching is not currently available.
Standard and advanced search options are offered to users of the skills services. The standard search box allows users to search, the keywords and metadata in the pages will pick up the resources for your learning objective. Alternatively, users can take advantage of advanced search features which allow for filtering of specific fields, including: resource type, course level, subject, qualification and unit title.
Post Search Options
After performing a search, a range of filters can be used to narrow the focus of results. Searches and individual items can be shared via their unique URL. Activities, quizzes and games are embedded in the pages ready to use; guides and transcripts can read on screen using the viewer or they can be downloaded. Guides can be instantly downloaded as a PDF. Every resource has their mapped learning objectives in their introductions and pages.

Authentication is via the UK Access Management Federation and IP address range.
