Resource page overview

The training services for: construction, digital and IT, education and childcare, hairdressing, health and social care training; are on a WordPress platform with a tailored design to enhance access to and navigation of the metadata and curriculum mapping of each resource; so the resource pages consist of the following:

Each resource page has the following sections:

Breadcrumbs: you can see where the page sits in the website hierarchy

Title: module name and resource type

Strapline: brief line summarising the resource aim

Subject: the subject/topic that the resource is mapped to

Metadata tags: a cluster of blue buttons each linking to resources with the same tags – tags cover level, resource type, subject, qualifications and units

Description: gives an overview of what the resource is and covers.

Learning objectives: NOS mapped learning objectives supported by the resource

Embedded resource: the resource will be embedded or linked to the page enabling in browser viewing

Download buttons: links to let you download the resource and transcript

Tags: keywords mapped to the resource are linked to help you find related resources
